Nearly a month since blogging anything – and even that was a geeky techy post. I am slacking. Been pretty busy at work and not doing anything particularly of note through the week (apart from Salsa classes I suppose, but the less said about that the better…).
Still we’ve been making good use of our weekends. This weekend we’ve finally made the effort to go to Jen’s brother’s house just outside Bath. We went into the town itself yesterday: what a nice place. It’s just like tourists expect England to look – and that’s why it’s full of them, even in November.
Last weekend we went down to our nation’s great capital and took in the National Gallery, Imperial War Museum and The Producers in one action-packed weekend. Inbetween all that we managed to meet up with father-to-be Mr Lane, and Jen’s mate from school Rachel and her fella Gordon.
I quite often go to London for work so don’t really appreciate what a great place it is. I don’t want to live there mind, but it’s so easy to get to and there’s so much to do, we should go down there more often at weekends – maybe even just for the day shopping.
I forgot my camera though, which I was gutted about. But I did take one photo of Trafalgar Square with my phone which I was quite proud of, so here it is…
