Tay Zonday is fast becoming a legend. Inexplicably still an unsigned artist, his latest and undoubtedly his best work is the magical Chocolate Rain, which consists of the words “chocolate” and “rain” repeated indefinitely, each time followed by a deep, insightful and thought-provoking sentence. Pure genius. And check out that pronunciation and those mouth movements.
Sadly not everybody is fully in touch with the real meaning of the song, and some have chosen to poke fun at Tay’s art.
Tay’s original work might not quite have quite what it takes, but you have to admit that the drum-and-bass remix has that edge. Look out for it on a dancefloor near you…
