A pleasant surprise at the end of an otherwise dull trip to the Capital yesterday (no personal offence to those I met with, of course!). Thanks to my having set my Facebook status as “Glen is in London today”, my good friend Graham “R” Lane got in touch and we went for a pint (or four) in Leadenhall Market. Very pleasant indeed. Mr Lane works in 30 St Mary Axe, better known as the Gherkin, so he took me up to the restaurant at the top of the building to take in the view over the city. Absolutely awesome!
Unfortunately I only had my camera-phone with me and it struggled to focus on the view, instead getting itself fascinated with the structure of the building resulting in some blurry shots L
